The Exchanged Life

We had some great conversation at the women’s retreat about the things that we get to exchange when we become Christians.  Like the way God takes our despair and exchanges it for hope.  The way He offers us peace in exchange for our worries, anxiety, and troubled hearts.  He exchanges our weakness for His strength.  He exchanges our weariness with His perseverance.  We get to trade in our doubt for the faith that He gives.  We can hand over our “natural woman” attitudes and responses in exchange for the fruits of the Spirit.

I could go on and on because He is such a big God and He is so full of life and love for us!  As I have visited the women in the last week here and there at their carepoints, I am greeted with the words, “Imphilo Lensha”-  New Life!   The women are continuing to experience the “New Life” every day and they are even singing and dancing with the children.  God is doing a beautiful work in each of us and I am thankful.

We had some precious singers at the retreat who sang a message that fits perfectly in walking out this new life.  The words are:  When I remember what the Lord has done, I will never go back anymore!  Enjoy this short clip and take hold of life in Christ today.

  1. Wow what a voice that young man has! I’m glad God is in the exchange business and His office never closes.

  2. Those little ones have the voices of angels! I’m so glad that you’ve been singing and dancing, experiencing New Life with the people. We’ve just witnessed exchanged lives for many at Warrior Leadership Summit – over 600 Natives from more than 70 tribes. Can’t wait to share stories when we both get back to GA! Love you!
